Back Home & Happy Holidays

How did it get so late so soon? Its night before its afternoon. December is here before its June. My goodness how the time has flewn. How did it get so late so soon? Dr. Seuss

We have been home almost a month and a half. I’m not going to lie, the adjustment to getting back into routines has been a chore.

As you know I did not finish writing about our last stops Bowness-on-Windermere, London, Winchester and Southampton, or the two week transatlantic journey back. That writing got put on the back burner as I became involved with things to do, places to be and people to see.

Surfice to say the trip truly was a wonderful experience. If you plan to visit Ireland or Scotland where most of our land travels were spent and want any recommendations or brain-storm ideas, send me a note and I would be happy to connect and hear your thoughts and share some of mine.

I will still be writing on this site. Writing is a part of me, a life-long itch to scratch out words. I like to write about people, circumstances and share what I see and think without over-sharing, if you know what I mean. Like you really don’t need to know what I had for breakfast or how much I dislike doing laundry. But maybe some of what I find interesting will be of interest to you too.

So, if you feel like hanging around and keeping my sporadic muses coming into your inbox, you will find my non-travel blog pieces, coming soon, on the tab titled – A Life.

Happy Holidays Everyone XO

(a few end of trip photos after Kathy, my sister joined us for the cruise back)
